With Martha Kilpatrick and hosted by John Enslow

This the continuation of a series of podcasts started in Episode #787
We just need His grace to allow Him to really do what He wants to do and bring forth the messages that He wants to bring forth.

John:
I’d love for us all to be reading and on the same page and then bring it to the podcast basically to say, “Hey, can y’all connect with this?” And I would love it to be a little more interactive where people are speaking into it as it’s developing.

You’ve got the Spirit messages, The Spirit and the Wind messages; all about the Holy Spirit; simply amazing messages. That would be a great book. But you’ve got all these newer books, the newer messages that you have. The Better Blood that’s been waiting for you and the Bride and the Lamb. All these books are ready and they are standing there and I don’t want to have you looking back and trying to produce stuff, old stuff into new. I’d rather you just be going forward and doing new.

I had someone call me the other day about The Joy Unequaled of Being Nothing and she said, “Where did this booklet come from?” I said, “Yeah, this is an amazing message that Martha got.” She ordered multiple ten packs and said, “I want this thing to go out. I want this thing to be impacting my world.” And I was like, “That is so exciting.” I was really excited about here getting all those. It was encouraging because I was able to tell her saying, “Hey, you know something? There are several booklets that are going to follow this one. One is the Celebration of Weakness, The Glory of Emptiness, The Wonder of Fullness, The miracle of Overflowing.” There are all these booklets that could come right behind it.

I want you to stay, I want you not to be burdened with…

Martha:
The past.

John:
…the past and taking old wine and putting it in new wine skin.

Martha:
One of the brothers of mine in Christ got that revelation about the wine.

John:
He did.

John:
He said to me, “You can’t pour old.”

John:
Old wine in new wine skins without them bursting.

Martha:
Uh huh… And at the time he said it I knew it had meaning but later on it was so impacting.

John:
It was.

Martha:
I’m working on the next one which is The Glory of Emptiness.

John:
These booklets, these are…

Martha:
They’ve sold amazingly.

John:
Totally!

Martha:
Which simply means it’s just getting out.

John:
But they are impacting people and people are not just buying one they are buying multiple ten packs to get the out.

Martha:
John, I want to interrupt this for a personal message; a lost and found. Someone sent me a most delightful little set of salt and pepper with a soap dish and I have lost the name of who gave that to me. So, if you are the one that sent me the salt and pepper shakers, please let me know so I can thank you.

I have a contact in India and I have lost her email in the massives of emails that are backed up. And I would love to her from her again. Those are personal announcements. Thank you for letting me.

John:
Absolutely.

So we really need your prayers for bringing forth this stuff. I want to get back into, come the first of the years, I want to get back into doing videos for y’all. A lot of people have told me that they really want to get updates and videos and I want to do that. We just need grace to allow Him to really do what He wants to do and how He wants to do it; bring forth what He wants to bring when he wants to bring it forth.

Martha:
We are working toward entire submission for whatever He wants. And your book on His Will, I’ve read most of it and it’s just marvelous.

John:
It’s wonderful.

Martha:
Very needed. God is giving John the most precious gift of expression and it’s just precious to all of us as we read it.

John:
That’s a gift of prayer from you. That’s for sure. I would not be able to even do this. And when I read them, I like it’s not me. I just know it’s not me. I know who and where my brain is and I look at them and I say, “That’s just amazing.”

This one and I finished the painting for Overcoming Anxiety. So, that’s done. The cover, all I have to do is we are waiting for that thing to go and get digitally imaged and get them to professionally take a picture of it and they get all the reflection and shininess off it and so it’s a real professional picture. And then we will lay the type set. We’ll get that ready to go. That one is going to be one of the first ones that we start printing once the Storehouse is done along with Overcoming Self-hatred which is just amazingly how many sells through Kindle. It’s just been Kindle. We haven’t had that one in print. Right now, it is the one that’s selling more than any other; even above The Great Lie right now. So that’s totally exciting.

Martha:
This marvelous little book by Andrew Murray about prayer and he calls it The United Prayer. It means all of us praying the same thing together.

John:
It’s called The Secret of United Prayer by Andrew Murray. It’s just a little booklet; it’s beautiful.

Martha:
It says teary until you are clothed with power from on high…So much of this kind of project is for me for power. And he said the Lord said to the disciples, “Without Me you can do nothing.” Without Him we cannot do this work without Him. Murray– “Why then has He chosen these impendent, helpless men and sent them out to conquer the world. It was in their feebleness they might wield themselves and get Him as Lord the opportunity for His throne to show His power working through them.” And that’s what we are asking for is His power. Murray– “As the Father had done all the work in Christ when He was upon earth so Christ in heaven would now be the great worker proving in us that all power had been given to Him in heaven and on earth. Their place would be to pray to believe and yield themselves to the might power of Christ.” And that’s what we do right now.

John:
That’s what we have to do!

Martha:
Have to do.

John:
That’s our requirement.

Martha:
There’s only one way…

John:
Exactly.

Martha:
…and that is Christ.

John:
We’ve been leaning in and looking for His life.

Martha:
This is awesome this little sentence in this book. Murray– “The Holy Spirit would not be in them a power with which they could have possession but that He would possess them.”

John:
Right!

Martha:
Murray– “And their work would be the work of the Almighty Christ.” That to me is a great irony.

John:
Right.

Martha:
But it’s a key. I need Him to do the work. No, He needs me. He needs this vessel.

John:
He needs the empty vessel to bring His living power through.

Martha:
And we have to be still. He will not let me contribute and add anything. He renders it so that I can do nothing but wait.

John:
Yeah, but each of us have witnessed when you come into that nothingness place. You will come to the CD of the Month; you didn’t have anything earlier; you just popped out a CD of the month. You literally come as nothing and then He comes and is everything.

Martha:
It’s that writing of Paul. “I will boast in my weakness.” Oh, I have such trouble being that happy, because it’s so difficult. This book I’m reading about Art Katz he says when you stand up and proclaim a word and you have nothing and He comes that is real preaching.

John:
That’s beautiful! It’s literally Him.

Martha:
That’s what Paul learned and he could say, “I rejoice in infirmities, illnesses, confusions, disasters.” They didn’t hinder him.

John:
Because when he was weak Christ was strong.

Martha:
He knew that has a principal of life with him. That was a law for the vessel to be full it had to be empty. That’s what I’m going to write about.

John:
It’s beautiful. Please pray for that, too. I’m looking forward to that one coming out.

Martha:
I think we all need it.

John:
We do, absolutely. That is an incredible powerful message that sets people free from a bondage of performance and doing and pressure.

Martha:
Responsibility is my nightmare and my gift. (laughs) I want to get it done for Him and I can’t do it for Him until He comes and does it Himself.

John:
Even with me He gave me the passion and the vision for the message to be getting out and to be going forth. Ultimately, He built this ministry. He gave the passion. He gave the hunger. He gave the zeal. He gave the vision. And then I just really waited for me to not try to do it.

Martha:
He won’t have our strength. He will refuse it; He will reject it.

John:
He will let you sit and wait a little bit longer until you will let Him be it.

Martha:
Yes, He does not want touch of the flesh. Anybody could pray that for me and all of us-no touch of the flesh because God hates flesh.

John:
He does.

Martha:
Flesh is self.

John:
The messages, it’s so evident that they are Spirit filled because they have Spirit Life and they have the longevity and the eternity in them. They speak whenever you read them because they were birthed of the Spirit. And if they were birthed of the flesh and they were birthed of knowledge…

Martha:
It would be death.

John:
It would be or there would be no longevity to them. They wouldn’t be fresh every time you picked them up. Adoration is fresh every time I pick it up. It is a new message every single time I pick it up.

So we need your prayers badly because we are a small group with a big calling and a Big God.

Martha:
And that’s what He wanted us to be from the beginning.

John:
And that’s what we are.

Martha:
I am so thankful for people that listen. I just marvel.

John:
It’s beautiful. Thank y’all.

Martha:
Yes, bless you!

One Response

  1. Helen Whaley says:

It seemed like in prayer i was inside the Great Heart of God…not only me, but His own. AND IT WAS SO STILL, IN ASSURED EXPECTATION…. Nothing encroaching…(though in the world there is this swirl & whirling awfulness)…the seeing & view, the Word & Will of God were within. So our cry joined Him, & tears shed were not down under it all or mixed in, but flowed & flooded in the power of His Love & Grace. “Because the Lamb..is at the heart of the Throne.” (Rev.7:17 NEB) The Lamb, the heart, the Throne! Who can take that in! Empty vessels, His fullness. “Their place would be to pray, to believe & yield themselves to the mighty power of Christ.” “That’s our requirement.” “There’s only one way, Christ.” Second Timothy speaks of the whole gamut of these days… It’s to the glory of God that these messages are coming to print for such a time & in the way of the Lamb. “…messenger of Christ Jesus by the will of God, according to the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus.”
You have spread a banquet of hope!
